The ONE consortium does not offer a one-stop registration process for students who wish to register for courses from multiple institutions in the same term. Institutions will try to accommodate such students by not requiring students to go through the full admission procedures if students already have a "home" institution. Review your plans with the institution(s) you plan to attend.
In general, you must be admitted to an institution before you can register for courses. In addition, some courses
may be restricted to students admitted to particular programs, to students at a particular level (e.g., junior
standing), or to students who have completed prerequisite courses. Most Oregon colleges and universities also allow
non-matriculated (non-admitted) students to register for and take a certain number of courses without being admitted
to a degree program. In addition, during summer term, most Oregon public universities do not require university
admittance to register for courses. Many distance education and community education programs at Oregon colleges
and universities also allow learners to take courses without being admitted. If you wish to earn a degree, certificate,
or license, however, you must apply for both program and institutional admission (See Admission).
