Are distance courses and programs equivalent in terms of quality
|
| Distance education courses and degree programs are equivalent in terms of quality with courses and programs offered at the traditional school, college, or university. However, the delivery method(s) may be very different. For instance, distance courses may be offered via the Web (Internet), videotape, correspondence, video-conferencing, telecourses, and CD-ROM. Certain courses are offered face-to-face, but at an off-campus location and in more-intensive, less-frequent time blocks. A number of the distance courses listed in the ONE catalog use a combination of delivery methods. |
