A variety of informational and marketing efforts have been undertaken to inform students, school and college advisors, and other prospective users about the ONE website.

Governor John Kitzhaber recorded TV and radio public service announcements for OregonONE on 10/2/00 (produced for ONE by the University of Oregon Media Services). Versions of the PSAs in beta, SVHS, and VHS of the video and CDs of the radio spot were developed. ONE sent VHS copies to each participating institution, and distributed PSAs across the state to 17 television and 35 radio stations. |

Bookmarks were printed for widespread distribution. Bookmarks were mailed out with posters and also distributed at meetings (regional Oregon high school counselors, OUS/Community College Articulation and Transfer Conference, OUS Online Course Showcase, Oregon Joint Boards of Education, Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications, Oregon Distance Education Forum). |

Two-thousand posters in two designs (Poster #1 and Poster #2) were printed. Posters were mailed between 12/00 and 3/01 to the 22 participating ONE campuses; 1,230 Oregon elementary, middle and high schools; 220 Oregon public libraries; and 45 Oregon extension offices. |

A new poster for ONE was produced to highlight the K-20 partnerships in ONE after various K-12 distance providers joined ONE. The new poster was distributed to K-12 schools, ONE member institutions, Oregon public libraries, and statewide extension offices. |

The second ONE Newsletter was distributed to K-12 schools and ONE member institutions. Newsletter #2 highlighted K-12 joining ONE, summarized findings from the ONE evaluation, featured various degree programs listed at ONE, included student feedback on their distance courses, more. |

The third ONE Newsletter along with additional copies of the latest ONE poster were distributed to K-12 schools and ESDs, ONE member institutions, public libraries, public agencies and governmental offices, and extension offices. The 12-page newsletter highlighted Oregon distance education, ONE marketing (including student quotes), program highlights, the Oregon Public Affairs Network, and featured articles on distance education in two community colleges (Portland Community College and Lane Community College) and two universities (Eastern Oregon University and Oregon State University.
