Are you a student who is . . .
- looking for courses that are not available at your local school?
- unable to take required courses because of scheduling conflicts?
- temporarily not able to attend your regular school?
- in need of remedial courses?
- lacking enough credits to graduate with your class?
- a home-schooler looking for alternative courses?
- ready to begin your college studies during high school?
If you also have a preference for self-directed style learning, then distance courses delivered by one of the Oregon K-12 online schools listed here may be your solution.
How do I find K-12 or "College High" courses at OregonONE?
You can find courses many ways:
- Click on the Courses button and select K-12 as level of study. This will list all of the courses currently available through all of the K-12 online schools participating in ONE.
- Click on the Courses button. Go to the Institutions box and scroll down until you get to K-12. Highlight the online schools you are interested in. (You can select more than one online school at a time by depressing the Ctrl key as you click with your mouse.)
- Use the subject search or keyword search while also selecting K-12 as level of study.
I found some courses I am interested in. What should I do now?
You should print out the course description page and take it to your school office. Be sure you have permission to add this course to your program and check to see if your school will pay the course tuition. Then you must follow the registration procedure of the K-12 online school offering the course. The online school may have other requirements as well; be sure to follow all of them.
