Using the Keyword Search |
|
The Keyword Search allows you to find full or partial matches based on the entered word or phrase. You can type in your word or phrase (preferrably one word or an abbreviation like psych for psychology) in either lower case or upper case letters. If you use a phrase, spell out the entire words rather than using abbreviations. You can use the Keyword Search in combination with any of the other search categories. For example, if you want to know which classes a favorite instructor will be teaching summer term, select "summer + year", leave others at "Select all" and type in the name of the instructor. Your search covers the following: course title, course number, course description, instructor name. [Press your browser's "BACK" button to return to the search form] Hint: For maximum results, keep the search word short, possibly even a partial word. Examples:
Caution: Two-letter partial searches will probably yield more than you want. For example, if you search: ag, you will find management and language, as well as agriculture. IMPORTANT: OregonONE strives to keep information on our website and in the database up-to-date. Since courses and degrees are offered by institutions and not by ONE, however, the institution is the ultimate source of current and correct information. Use the ONE database for your initial search, but be sure to verify accuracy with the institution. |
